But I have one problem. You bass drum sounds like a suction cup. It's so annoing to me. for the first 1:45 of the song, that's all I could focus on. Then later you tuned it down and it sounded so much better. So either get a new bass drum sound or kill it.
I'm very happy that you managed to keep it all going and not total change that whole aspect of what you where going for. : )
I remarked it also when I had the chance to hear it from a big sound system. But couldn't hear it at low level at home...Maybe i'll fix it later, but i'm having trouble with the FLP file.

It's not realy a remix cause you didn't change anything. only the sound of the notes that where already created for you.

1) i added a drum beat to begin with that has a couple of different layers
2) the instraments are different
3) i did actually have to change the notes because the ones that were given to me weren't correct
4) there are no vocals, i created a instrament for the vocals part using a preset as a starting point
so how is this not a remix? i changed practically everything in this song

But have you ever tried different base drum beats then just straight quarter notes? Yea, I know he doesn't check these anymore but I'm going to say it anyways.
I check these :3 It's the genre really. I'm not sure what other type of rhythms you could do with this genre :X

It sounds like you messed with the pitch changer to much! If you didn't use that, then you had something messed up there.

The beginning is just not good enough. You need something that will make us think that hey, its this awsome it must get better. I listened to 2 of your other songs and same for them Just not a good enough beginning. good layering. bit to much of the same though.

When I listen to others peoples songs, I feel as if I completely understand the song, and somewhat know what they can do to fix it, but when I come to my own music, I get lost and it always just turns into a mess. I really wish I knew why

The double beat at the beginning wasn't smart, sound was a bit annoying, good strings (shound expand them more but on a softer volume)
at 1:36 nice voice and solo balance of the up and down note movement.
And y is there a big break at the end where there is nothing playing? 2:11

At the start I was starting to like it but then It got distent and I never realy got into it. I don't know how to discribe it but I just not feeling it.
